That is incorrect.  Localtalk does support TCP/IP traffic.  One of our labs
here ar U. of Rochester is still using a phonenet network, and all TCP/IP
and Appletalk traffic must pass through the localtalk network before they
are passed onto ethernet by a GaterBox.
