Naoki,

Just a thought, have you checked the files permissions? I don't
run ppp myself, but I am assuming these are executables. run the command
"ls -l /etc/ppp/ppp-up" and "ls -l /etc/ppp/ppp-down" Does it look
something like this?

-rwxr--r-- 1 root staff 310 Jul 16 1996 ppp-down

The important stuff is the "-rwxr--r--" You want it to look more like this:
"-rwxr-xr-x"

You want to make it executable to your user. Type "chmod 711 ppp-down" if
you want all of your users to be able to run the command. For more info,
read about permission using the chmod man page,

Hope this helps,

Ben
