Or, if you're really daring, you could try pdisk under NetBSD. :-) Try:
ftp://globegate.utm.edu/pub/NetBSD/pdisk/pdisk-netbsd-mac68k
If that doesn't work (library version problems or whatever), the NetBSd
diff is in the directory with it.... Apply the patch file using patch to
a current version of pdisk sources and compile yourself... and see what
that does....
