This is using the August 8th kernels (MRG and GENERIC) that are on
ftp.netbsd.org.  After Booter finishes (1.11.3 BTW), the screen
clears, and on the console is printed:

Bootstrapping netBSD/mac68k.
Getting mapping from MMU.

And that's all she wrote. ;-)  The same happens with all 4 kernels in
the 08081998 snapshot dir.  Is there an "older" (but presumably
post-1.3.2, since those don't work either) kernel out there I could
try (to at least help narrow down the cause of the hang)?

Excallent!  Last time I ran NetBSD/mac68k was back in the 1.1 days, on
an old IIci...didn't even bother with X then. ;-)
