	At the risk of starting a flame war about the merits of kde, GUIs,
etc. I would say that on a machine as slow as an old mac, the memory and
processor overhead will be quite significant - I sysadmin a number of
alpha 3000s, and they aren't the fastest machines in the world by a long
shot, but they're decent, and have LOTS of memory - anyway, i don't like
the overhead they put on those machines, so I imagine kde on a 680x0 could
be pretty frustrating. Take these words with a grain of salt, I don't like
a single GUI besides MacOS anyway... ;-)
