I have a Quadra 800 and I am running 1.3 with the Quadra video patch.
I have 3 CDROM drives hooked up to it, an original single speed
external Apple CDROM drive, a Toshiba double speed, and an internal
Apple 300i. I have CDs mounted in the Toshiba and the 300i and
available for public FTP. I am not expecting any sort of great
performance since they are such slow drives, and multiple requests
will slow it even further.
My problem is that it doesn't just get slow, it freezes my machine
when there are multiple requests or a request for a large file. I
know this is not very helpful information, I was just wondering if
there was any information I could collect in case someone with the
know-how wanted to figure it out. Or maybe it is such a ridiculous
thing to do that I shouldn't even worry about it.

ps- I have plenty of RAM and plenty of Swap and HardDrive space.
