One thing you _might_ want to try is one of my SLOTMAN kernels.  They
actually probe nubus slot space looking for cards, and execute any on-
card initialization code they find.

Check out ftp://ftp.whooppee.com/pub/slotman/ and pick a kernel that's
right for you (you have to decide between ncr and sbc scsi drivers, and
between MRG or HWDirect ADB access).

If you do try these out, make sure your monitor is attached to the nubus
card _before_ you run the NetBSD booter application!  And if it doesn't
work, please post (or to me via private E-mail) the output from dmesg.
