Minor correction.  Bank A on a IIci is 4 30-pin SIMM slots.  If you have
256K SIMMs in those slots, that's 1MB and not enough to boot BSD.  If
you have 1MB SIMMs in those slots, and that's enough.

You'll probably need to fit a monitor adaptor or paperclip or something
on the 8/24 card to get the system to believe that there's a display
there (so it will actually use it).
