I am trying to set up lpd to print to a 1200c with a JetDirect card in 
     it.  I copied a printcap file from a BSD machine (I don't think it was 
     NetBSD though).  When I send anything to the spool with lpr or lp I 
     get an error which says that /dev/lp can not be found.  There is no 
     reference to this device in my printcap, and I couldn't make a lp with 
     MAKEDEV.  I know that I am probably doing a dozen things wrong, so if 
     anybody can give me a clue I would appreciate it greatly.
