After a (succesfull) build ~/src/ns takes 364 MB of disk space. Ouch.
This is on Solaris 2.6 where the binary runs well (/w motif) as far as
I've tested it. The statically linked binary is 7MB.

BTW, make takes forever on an Ultra-1 w/ 320 MB RAM...
