You need a booter newer than 1.9.5...I believe newer kernels require 1.11.
I tried booting with 1.10 and it wouldn't boot correctly.  

It said something along the lines of:

You are using booter version 1.8

You will need booter 1.11 to fully support this kernel.

(that was booting with 1.10 also)
