I have the same problem. Arrow keys in console and also in dt (I think) are
a mess when using vi. This problem is not evident using X (twim) where the
arrow keys behave themselves.
I'm running a stock Quadra 650, 32MB and an apple extended keyboard II.
With NetBSD 1.3.
