So you have an 040? Then you don't have an FPU. You have part of the
FPU built into the 040, and the rest (like the trancendental functions)
is emulated in the FPSP (Floating Point Software Package, I think).

Motorola released the FPSP w/ the 040 for backwards compatability. With it,
an 040 can support the full FPU software model.
