Hello,

I'm now trying to build an SBC kernel. The stock SBC kernel solved my Jaz
drive problems, but I want to change some options.

I tried commenting out the ncr line, and uncommented the sbc line, in the
config file, like this:

#ncrscsi0 at obio? # SCSI NCR 5380
sbc0 at obio? flags 0x1 # MI SCSI NCR 5380

Then I config'd a fresh kernel, ran make depend; make.

I got a kernel, but it has exactly the same problems that the original
NCR kernel had. Is this supposed to be all there is to configing an SBC
kernel?

While I'm at it, what is sbc all about? Is there any special reason it's
an option? Could it be auto-sensing? Do some machines *not* work w/ SBC
kernels?
