     Thanks for that info; sure sounds like it could be the culprit 
that Paul G. was up against with this!  I wouldn't be at all surprised
if that was it.  Now the question is, where will I ever find the ROMs
to upgrade this one card?  Hmmm, now that I think about it, all my 
Mac's run 7.x and that card seems to work ok in any of them with MacOS.
So, maybe thats not really it.....
