Unfortunately, Kaffe doesn't help here. The version that supports (claims
to...)
JDK 1.1 still comes without an AWT clone; Biss-AWT appears "real soon now"
for some months.

"command line only" Java is not very impressive on a m68k box; you could
just as well use Perl.  ;)
