err..does that harmless(?)-but-pesky syslog-cluttering SCSI problem have
any chance to be fixed yet? it seems unique to IIvx's; i'm running
GENERIC#47 (1.3_ALPHA system)...has it disappeared in more recent kernels?
(or do more recent kernels have trouble booting even?)
