But are you using the 1.3_Beta X distribution? _That_ was
the question. As mentioned in that note, we're switching
from X11R6 to XFree, and there can be some incompatabilities.
Only recently did we get a color X server for the new distribution.

Also, the app you've had trouble with might need XFree. If
you're using the older color distribution, it could have
problems.

But then again, I consider setting up X a bit of a dark art. :-)
