Hi guys,
I managed to get Windowmaker to compile finally.
I had to install bison, along with a ton of other stuff (new version of
Windowmaker 0.1.12 I believe)
My question is as follows, as it relates solely to X and I am hoping that
someone may have experienced a similar problem with some other Window
manager.
I type:
# startx
and Windowmaker comes up like it should but there are some lines opf text
that scroll by so fast in the process that I cannot make out what they
say. After that I get about 100 lines of the following:
Windowmaker Warning: internal X error: Bad Draw Table
Request Code: 63 X_CopyPlane
Request mirror code: 0
Request ID 0x0
Error Serial 2281 <---Note this number changes each time this message
comes up.
I _do_ get a single xterm up from the .xinitrc file and I can type in it
and do all kinds of fun stuff there as normal, but if I try to move the
window around on the screen, I get the error message listed above...
Any help would be appreciated, and once I get this thing working I will
try to make a .tar.gz of it for anyone else that wants it. It looks real
cool, and has a lot of nice features (well, so I hear..I can't use it yet
so :P )
Anyway, thanks in advance
Greg
