hmm. i installed the new x distribution because what i was using was the
March '95 stuff, not even the NetBSD 1.2 snapshot. I couldn't get a few
things to work, so i downloaded the Dec26 X snapshot and installed it...i
also got the Colin's new color Xserver and installed that. now, as i try
to run X i get these unusual errors regarding fonts that i don't know how
to fix:

the first "Couldn't set" error I think i remember seeing before, but it
worked nevertheless.
the font error...??? how do i fix that?
in terms of hardware, i have 2 video busses, internal video on IIvx,
640x480, running in 1-bit, and an 8-bit Mac II nubus video card running in
8-bit, 640x480. i have two monitors attached as well. the machine is a
IIvx, running 1.3ALPHA and GENERIC#47.
as for previous setup, i had the same hardware. only thing changed was the
xserver and the xsoftware (xbase, xcomp, xcontrib, and xfont installed).
any ideas?
thanks
