Well, the problem is that there ARE minor hardware differences between the
IIvx and the P600.  The P600 lacks the L2 cache of the IIvx, and it may or
may not have the FPU.  I would imagine that there is some way to change
the gestalt ID ("IIvx-ify" it), but it might be a bad idea unless the
machine is actually identical to a IIvx...
