Oops...big mistake...read the INSTALL doc!

Don't bother.  If you'll take a look at the supported hardware section of
the INSTALL doc or the machine-status page, both should indicate that
NetBSD doesn't currently support a Quadra 605.  The problem with this
machine is similar to that with the Classic Macs and the PowerBooks, most
likely a video mapping problem.

Yes, this is a long-standing (i.e. it's always been this way) bug.

Well, not really, it's just that we don't know how to map the internal
video on it quite correctly...

Don't worry, you didn't do anything wrong.  It'd be nice if you were
willing to help test once someone figures out how to properly map the
memory on that model of machine (or you could work on it yourself, of
course :-)
