I recompiled the kernel last night with MRG_ADB off, and
it still didn't boot completely.  Somewhere within the
HWDIRECT code it died (I believe within another memory
probe loop -- I'm going to examine it this evening).

If I figure it out, I'll let everyone know.
I seem to be the only guy with a PB180 on this list,
so it looks like it's up to me (straightens back,
sticks chest out ;-) ).
