I am trying to get a ppp connection.   I configured Bill Studenmund's
PPP kit.  When I type /etc/ppp/ppp-up i get connecting.......(then a few
seconds later)...done.

A few more seconds and I can here the modem pick up and dail.  After a
while it appears to hang up and redail.  When I try to ftp somewhere it
say "no route to host"  I am a BSD beginner so please bear with my
ignorance.  Any help will be appreciated
