I'm sorry but this probably isn't the best place to ask this question, but
I've tried
several news groups without success...

I've got two Macs, a PowerMac 7600 and an SE/30 (running netBSD 1.2.1).
To install stuff on the SE/30 I have to share the PowerMac7600's drives/CD-ROM.
Up until a few weeks ago file sharing worked great, then one day I was file
sharing
and started a PPP session on the PowerMac. When I did this, the file
sharing on the
SE/30 locked up to the point that even the machine froze. Since then I
can't get
file sharing to run between the two machines in either direction on either the
AppleTalk (printer) port or 10-Base/T. When I boot up netBSD, I can telnet
to it
from the PowerMac without problems.

The PowerMac is running MacOS 8.0, the SE/30 is running 7.1.x. Like I said,
this
_was_ working until I tried to open PPP on the PowerMac. Any ideas?

Thanks,
-Mark
