    Does it with generic#0, netbsd121.

    The "certain circumstances" are this: IF the telnet is to a host 
whose name is given, ie, telnet blah.blah.bladedy.blah, BANG!  Kills
the link.  But, if its to the IP given in dotted decimal it does not,
