I tried fooling with this stuff when I was trying to get color X going
for my intvidtest stuff.

As far as I can tell if you want color X you're stuck with the old
distribution. I tried meddling with the fonts but that didn't work and
even if it did, the server might begin complaining about out of alignment
shared libs.

What we need to do is get the new X stuff working on color. I'm going to
see if I can get some serious stuff done on the intvid front in the
next couple of days. It may be worth my while to work on the X server
too, though I've heard the X server source is quite huge. I may not have
the time to do it but it may be worth looking into.

Where can I get a copy of the current server source that we are using?
