Since color internal video isn't out yet, i was thinking of using the nubus
color video option on my 24-bit macintosh display card (made by apple).
will this work (in 8-bit mode, of course)? is it a kernel upgrade or an lkm?

i downloaded video_lkm_combined.o and Xmacbsd.960512.gz. I've tried running
the GENERIC.grf.tar.gz mentioned in README.Xcolorkit before, and it does
not boot on my IIvx (so what else is new).

the readme mentions nothing about an lkm. does this lkm do what the taras'
grf kernel was supposed to do?

oh yeah, how do i load modules? :-)

thanks,
