Hi all,

I've got a small problem that I can't find the answer to, and I was
hoping someone on the list might know.

I can't get tcsh to save its history to the .history file between
logins.  The file is always empty.

I have a history variable set (to 1000) in my .cshrc, and I have
savehist set there as well, but nothing ever gets saved.  I tried
running a 'csh' subshell from under tcsh, and it saved its history
properly, so I have no idea what is going on.

This is not a life ending problem, but it has me pretty confused.
I read the man page and it didn't help.  I can't find a FAQ anywhere,
so I thought maybe someone here would know.

Any ideas?  Thanks for any input on this,
