I've got a _very_ preliminary version of a Quadra AV onboard ethernet
driver that I'd like some feedback on... I'd like to hear from folks
with non-AV Macs too though. If you don't have an AV, hopefully my
kernel should work as well as a GENERIC kernel (and it shouldn't find
a "mc0" device during boot). And if you do have an AV, you should see
a line similar to this one in your boot messages:

mc0 at obio0: address 08:00:07:06:39:ef

Hopefully, you'll be able to ifconfig mc0, ping, telnet, and do some
other stuff too. The driver does seem to have trouble with large
packets though (don't know exactly how large... over about 1400 bytes
or so). I can't seem to ftp a file, for example.

The kernel is a GENERIC kernel from October 29th sources, except for
the addition of my driver. Let me know if it works!

You can get it at: http://www.bga.com/~khym/netbsd/

I'm working on getting some space on an ftp site, so maybe it'll be up
for ftp soon too.

Thanks!
