I suppose that the ROM-based ADB driver for the PowerBooks has not been
supported by the GENERIC kernels. So the kernels won't boot properly on
the PowerBooks. I've got to work the MRG-based ADB and PM driver on my
PowerBook with older kernel sources before, and I've been working on
taking it in the latest kernel source now. The test kernels will be put
on my Web page when it is succeeded in working. (I'm not sure when that
is because I don't have enough time for that...)

Also if you are interested in a kernel which doesn't use the MRG-based
ADB driver, please try the kernel which is available at:
