Hello,

I think I may have found out the source of the bug. At the time of
the bug, I was running version 1.2.1 base, comp, etc, misc, man, text
binaries with Generic Kernel 45 kernel. I did not realize this
incompatibility till Colin Wood told me to update the binaries to match the
Generic 45 kernel. AT the time of the bug, I was also using a much older
version of the Installer (I can't recall the version number, but I know it
was old cuz the newest one I downloaded had more features) which may have
been indirectly responsible for the bug.
So far, NetBSD has been booting well, and the bug has not surfaced
ever since I upgraded the binaries and used the latest version of the
Installer. Sorry for the false alarm!
