Unless, of course, you need to contact a machine that is still running
4.2BSD or a variant of Un*x derived from it.  I seem to remember someone
having this problem several months ago...

BTW, I think that Gene is probably Gene Skoniki(?), the OpenBSD/mac68k
portmaster.
