Ok, thanks to all who wrote me on getting ADB to work. I got the 
GENERIC-45 kernel and it works ok.. I get kernel panics occasionally, but 
besides that its ok.. I was wondering how to get the ethernet card to 
work. When it boots it recognizes the card in the LC three times, when i 
tried manually using ifconfig to activate the interface it froze the 
machine.. Any ideas?
