I believe that in the installation manual for that particular card, it
_explicitly_ tells you to put it into the slot on LC-class machines,
because the motherboard has a hard time addressing it via the card. Please
recheck the LC portion of the manual for the specific advice, as the manual
is for a couple cards (LC, si, & SE if I recall correctly).
