To be honest, I didn't think about that, one would think, that it would
however, if for some reason (I can't think of one) the IDE generated
an unexpected interrupt, or if the IDE memory addresses are maped as
general memory and then used by the systems one would expect instability
but the truth is I just don't know, try it and find out.
