Anyway, yes, many people have.  In fact, {puma,www,ftp}.macbsd.com runs a
version of OpenBSD at the moment.

Have you tried one of Takashi Hamada's kernels on your Duo?  Although I'm
pretty sure the dock is unsupported, the machine itself might work to some
degree.
