I don't know about this list, but on the ones I run I have majordomo only
bother me with approval notices if the address to be (un)subscribed is
different than the one the email is for.

[ Note from "listmom":  This is the case.  NetBSD also uses a program
  called resend that catches messages with help/subscribe/unsubscribe
  in the message.  That's why I'm having to forward this message on.  I
  also have to forward on Tom Rini's (?) posts because his signature uses
  the word "pricks" which majordomo doesn't like because of its other
  uses.  -allen ]
