Hi,

for the first time, i have installed netbsd
on a macIIvx a few days ago. Now, X-windows
is running but i would like a color X-windows.

As mentionned in the faq, i've dowloaded
the color X server, and it works fine in B&W.

So, i'am trying to install the LKM colorkit
and i've put in the /etc/rc.local (as mentionned
in the faq):

# Set up color video
     if [ -f /usr/lkm/video_lkm_combined.o ] ; then
             echo 'loading color video.'
             modload -o /tmp/video -e video_lkm_cmd video_lkm_combined.o
     fi

But at the boot, the system is complaining about
a missing /dev/lkm device.

So i've used MAKDEV lkm and the device has been created.

But now the message is that the device has not
been correctly configured.

So the question is, does the defaut kernel (standard distribution,
,i've downloaded the 1.2.1 release) support LKM ?
It's not so clear.

And what i am doing wrong ?

Thanks.
