Since other PB users also told about problems with pppd (i.e. David A.
Gatwood), I wanted to ask,

?- if any PowerBook or Duo user has pppd with modem working on his
machine
?- if anyone has also such problems with pppd
?- if any Duo user has other but the 1.2 binaries working on his Duo
with the special Duo kernel (could be a problem of the 1.2 distributions
pppd version?)

Please answer directly to me (sparing bandwidth), I will give a report
to the list, later.
