Hello NetBSD Community,
At last I succeeded in installing a (multi-user)-bootable NetBSD on my
Mac LC III. I think I've installed NetBSD121 and base121 for 7 or 8 times
without success, but now it seems to be stable (main suspect: BlockSize was
8192, is 4096 now).
Of course I have a few questions now, as I'm not used to be _root_, and the
MacOS was the only OS I 'understood' to some extent.
My main questions are:
- how do I mount my other SCSI-disks (Mac-formatted) to /mnt?
- how do I access the floppy drive? (other devices are accessible
without any problem: adb (not that I've seen a mouse pointer), sound (vi
clicks, for instance), A4-screen)
- (future) How do I connect (ZMODEM, or better: ppp) to another
computer.
TIA, and have a nice saturday the 14th,
Renier.
