As indicated in the message you received when you joined the group,
it is easiest and quickest for YOU to remove yourself from the list.

As the welcome message said, send mail to majordomo@netbsd.org, and,
in the body of the message, say:

unsubscribe port-mac68k

If YOU do this, you will IMMEDIATELY be unsubscribed. The only complication
would be if you are sending EMail from a different address than the one
on the list, in which case a human has to step in.
