Ugh. I have a Q700 and I don't have any of these problems. They could
stem from two sources, I think:

	* Driver problems with esp driver.
	* Kernel problems dealing with older filesystem formats.

I think I've fixed up my filesystems with 'fsck -c 2' (which makes them
incompatible with the installer). I have one internal disk and one
external disk--I'm not using the internal under NetBSD (it not an Apple
drive, either, though ;-):

sd0 at scsibus0 targ 1 lun 0: <SEAGATE, ST1480 SUN0424, 7516> SCSI2 0/direct fixed
sd0: 411MB, 1476 cyl, 9 head, 63 sec, 512 bytes/sec
sd1 at scsibus0 targ 5 lun 0: <HP, 97549T100, 9136> SCSI1 0/direct fixed
sd1: 955MB, 1921 cyl, 16 head, 63 sec, 512 bytes/sec

I'll try a newer drive on the SCSI bus, too, when I reboot next.
