That MacIIx that I mentioned in an earlier message (the one that I'm
trying to rebuild) is giving me a problem. My video card finally arrived
and I plugged it in and set things up. Keep in mind that this IIx has no
RAM, HD or floppy disk drive in it.

First off, it plays a two or three bar tune like a lullabye when I
power it up. I recall that this means that the internal test claims that
there is a hardware problem. Correct? Could this be the lack of RAM?

Next, the monitor doesn't seem to receive any data from the system.
Now this *could* be the video card, but if the computer itself is broken in
the first place.... It might also be related somehow to the "Liberty Video
Adapter" that I'm using to connect the Apple Macintosh II Video Card to a
15 inch multisync monitor. But I've tried many different configurations of
the adapter's pins to no avail. Always a blank screen.

Any help, knowledge, or advice would be appreciated. Thanks in
advance.
