You can't do that in fstab.  But, if you download all the kernel sources
and build a custom kernel you can wire specific SCSI id's to specific sd?x
unit n mbers.

Sounds like you didn't completely delete X.  Look for the startx program:

	which startx

and delete it.

You gotta have a kernel, libkvm, and ps that all "match" (ie, were built
from the same sources, or at least the same include files).  Some folks
are starting to include libkvm and ps (and a few other programs) with
their semi-custom kernels, so ask the person who built your kernel.

Check out your /etc/hosts file as well as resolv.conf to make sure netstat
knows how to resolve nam/address pairs.
