I'd be very much surprised if this one really wasn't in the FAQ...

What it means is that your kernel is out of sync with your binaries
(usually due to having a kernel much newer than the binaries), and
the kernel data structures are not what the binaries expect.

I have a new distribution in the final build stage (making the 
tarballs).  It is unlikely to be completed before I go to bed
tonight, so I'll get them uploaded tomorrow evening.

There is the off chance that they might be too _new_ for your
kernel, but should work with kernels built within a few weeks
of today.
