Actually, the cache card is a hardware thing, but the GENERIC kernels
explicitly do not enable it.  If you want to use the cache card, you can
build your own kernel.  There _may_ be some caching bugs in the kernel,
but I think several people are running/have run with the cache enabled
without problems.
