I don't like the idea of zapping the PRAM to solve problems. What could
be in the PRAM which prevents MacBSD from booting? I sorta like my
settings the way they are already...

I have somewhat the same configuration as the person who was asking
earlier (840av, etc) and I've never had BSD running EVER. I tried under
system 7.5.5 and 7.6 now. I keep having problems with the kernel
crashing. I've tried over 40 kernels. I tried everything I'd ever heard
of and everything I could get ahold of.
