OK. I don't believe this but:

X WINDOWS WORKS ON THE POWER BOOK 160 !!!

Michael Zucca you are a genius whether you are drowning in grad work
or not!

The kernel I've been using is Takashi's PMTEST.961214.122.iv.ncr.tar.gz
(Takashi you are also a genious), which seems to work (mostly) with both
the NetBSD-1.2 and NetBSD-1.2.1 distributions.

At fisrt it appeared that X just hung upon start up. Then Michael told
me to just let it sit for a while because sometimes X can take a while
to come up. Well, he was right. It takes QUITE a while. Like about
4 minutes. But IT WORKS! Amazing.

I guess we can put PB1xx on the list of FULLY functional NetBSD machines
as soon as Takashi makes the changes he needs to the current sources and
Michael's intvid sources are merged.

By the way Michael, do you know if your sources would allow the PB160 to
use an external monitor? If I try to use colorkit X, can I get 16 shades
of greyscale on my PB? If not now, will your future revs of intvid allow
the external monitor or the greyscale on the PB?

As an aside, does anyone know of a 3-button mouse that will work without
hassles for MacBSD (and will it work with the PB160)?

Thank you thank you thank you everone who has had anything to do with
this!

Keep up the terriffic work,

-Adam
