I am running xconsole, so that messages don't scroll up the x enviroment. 
however, when i wall a file, it still scrolls up, because (i think...) it 
sends it to /dev/ttye0, the place where i started xwindows. this is a 
problem because it still scrolls up the x enviroment. any ideas?
